Low energy consumption

This product works at low temperatures and may allow you to use less methanol. That means your plant saves energy on heating and cooling costs due to reduced need for methanol rectification.



Lower maintenance cost and downtime

Unlike acids, enzymes are gentle and do not corrode equipment, hence requiring less maintenance and downtime.



Higher ester yield
This product operates at milder conditions, than chemical routes, resulting in fewer impurities. That means fewer post-treatment steps. As post-treatment is associated with yield loss, this product gives you higher overall ester production yield.

Increase Feedstock flexibility

This product converts free fatty acids (FFA) into biodiesel. This frees you from the limitations imposed by FFA content, so you can include feedstocks up to 20% FFA in your production.



No polymerization or color formation

Eversa® Advance reduces FFA content in feedstocks to 1-1.5% and alcoholic neutralization further reduces it to <0.1% with no side reactions or color formation that need to be dealt with, and ensuring little to no soap stock formation during transesterification.



Low capital expenditure

Enzymatic operations at low temperature and atmospheric pressure allow use of reactors made of low/medium grade steel. This enables up to savings on your capital expenditure compared to acid esterification. It can also work as an add-on to existing processes, minimizing capital investment.
