Back staining occurs when the indigo released during stone washing stains back onto the denim. This reduces the contrast between the dark blue and white parts of the fabric. The redeposited indigo can also stain pockets and labels and is more prone to yellowing.
The cellulase enzymes in our biosolutions leave the interior part of the yarn fibre intact. This makes the lighter areas in the interior of the fibre more visible to give a faded appearance. In other words, a fashionable stonewashed look with minimal indigo re-deposition.
